You can exit from the Accelerated Event Notification client
when you are in any of the three states: Connected, Not
Connected, or You have Messages.

To exit the Accelerated Event Notification client:
Procedure
- Perform the appropriate action for your operating system:

state, and select Exit from the pop-up menu. |

From the Windows system
tray, right-click over the icon depicting the connection state, and
select Exit from the pop-up menu. |
- If you are connected to the ObjectServer, you are prompted
to confirm that you want to close the connection and exit the Accelerated
Event Notification client. If you are currently signed out, you are
prompted to confirm that you want to exit the client. In either case,
click Yes to confirm.
Results
The Accelerated Event Notification client stops running and
you are disconnected from the ObjectServer (if previously connected).
All open pop-up notifiers automatically close.
