You can start the Filter Builder, View Builder, and event
list from your personal library. You can also work with files that
are represented by symbolic links.
About this task
Start an application in any of the following ways:
Procedure
- To start the Filter Builder with a filter loaded, double-click
a filter icon (.elf file) in the personal library,
or right-click the icon and click Start Filter Builder from
the pop-up menu.
- To start the View Builder with a view loaded, double-click
a view icon (.elv file) in the personal library,
or right-click the icon and click Start View Builder from
the pop-up menu.
- To start an event list with a specific configuration, double-click
an event list configuration icon (.elc file)
in the personal library, or right-click the icon and click Start
Event List from the pop-up menu.
- To start and work with the file that is represented by
a symbolic link, double-click the symbolic link.
