Adding files to the personal library
You can use the personal library in conjunction with the directory browser utility to build up your library of frequently-used files.

Creating symbolic links in the personal library
You can create a symbolic link in your personal library, to a file in your local UNIX system.

Starting an application from the personal library
You can start the Filter Builder, View Builder, and event list from your personal library. You can also work with files that are represented by symbolic links.

Removing files from the personal library
If you no longer require a file to be in the personal library, you can move it from the personal library back into the directory browser by using the drag-and-drop technique with the middle mouse button. You can also delete files from the personal library.

Viewing the full contents of the personal library
On occasion, you might want to refresh or update the personal library to show certain files that are currently held in this location, but which are, by default, not shown.
