From the Event List monitor box window, you can save the filter, view, and other alert configurations that are defined for the current group of monitor boxes, and later apply this configuration to event lists. You might find it useful to save if you have modified any of the filters that are configured for the current monitor boxes.
You can save configuration changes to the same file or to a different file. The title bar of the Event List monitor box window generally includes the file name of the current event list configuration. If the title bar of the Event List monitor box window displays [None] in place of a file name, this means that the configuration is as yet unsaved. You must save event list configuration files with a .elc extension.
To save your changes to the event list configuration file that is shown in the title bar of the Event List monitor box window, click . The Save Configuration window opens. Click OK to overwrite the file with your changes.
To save an unsaved event list configuration or to save the current event list configuration with another file name, click . The Save Configuration window opens. Select another directory and file name, and click OK. The Event List monitor box window refreshes to show the configuration file name in the title bar of the event list.
